First delivered as a standard 914/6 in February 1970 Svenska Volkswagon AG of Sweden received and installed the parts and built the car to FIA Group 4 specification, this included a type 901/26 engine with Weber 46IDA carburetors.
Leif Hansen campaigned the car in the 1970 Swedish National Championship.
In 1970 Porsche factory driver Björn Waldegård used this GT to compete in the Röforsbacken Hill Climb where he set a speed record.
With drivers Anders Wickstrom and Bengt Bengtsson this car continued racing through the 1980s.
In 1990 Peter Calas purchased the GT and started entering the car in vintage race events.
In 2001 UK Porsche dealer Edmond Harris offer this GT for £45,000.
Drivers Cruz and Olivera entered this 914 in the Tour d'Espagne 2001.
In late 2003 Fernando Campos Ferreira of Portugal purchased this car.
Marcel Roks Consultants offered this GT for sale at a price of £185,000 in July 2006.
